Imagination

I love when God yet again confirms something to me. Something that is so close to my heart and something that I was created to release people in. I know this because whenever He sends someone my way that wants to engage in the imagination that God created for us, I come alive in Him. Because that, is one of the things He created me to do. When we are walking in what God truly has for us we should feel life filling us up and reaching out to whoever is around us. It's the Holy Spirit flowing through us.

We were created in His image. He imagined us into existence and because we are His kids we have His "DNA." I feel in the deepest parts of who I am that we are called, all of us, to imagine ourselves with Him and through this He will show us great and mighty things! Things that are just because He wants to have fun with us, things that will guide us and things that will show us how to pray. He is a supernatural God and because we are His kids we should be walking in the supernatural naturaly. As my husband says, "The supernatural isn't part of Christianity. It is the essence of Christianity." And I fully agree with Him! It's not something that we should pick and choose from. It's something that we should be.

Today I sat down and read My Utmost for His Highest and this is where God confirmed what is so much of who I am. "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose imagination is stayed on Thee." Isaiah 26:3 (RV MARG) "If you have never used your imagination to put yourself before God, begin to do it now. Imagination is the greatest gift God has given us and it ought to be devoted entirely to Him." Oswald Chambers

Just those few sentences showed me that this is something we are supposed to do. It brings peace to our minds because when we are imagining ourselves with our Creator nothing from this world can get in the way.
